Pre-Production Folder - Cast List

This is a list of our cast involved in our thriller. We are using a blonde young girl to fit with the known stereotype of kidnapping and child abuse. We are using a 20 year old man to fit with the stereotype of a kidnapper and abuser.

Pre-Production Folder - Group Roles

This is a summary of the tasks which each person did. it was good in the organisation process of letting people know what they were doing. however, people worked together well and therefore the pre production folder was a quick process.

Pre-Production Folder - Floor and Lighting Plan

This is a floor and lighting plan of the set within the studio at Hurtwood. This is where most of our shooting takes place. It is helpful to the men who make the set as they can follow this to make sure that lighting is in the appropriate places.

Pre-Production Folder - Equipment List

This is very helpful because it acts as a checklist on our shooting day to make sure that we have everything we need in order to shoot our thriller.

Pre-Production Folder - Shooting Schedule

The shooting schedule is important to ensure that the group knows what we are doing, at what time, when we need the actors and when our breaks are. It ensures that the group does not get confused on the day of shooting and can let the actors know whats happening.

Pre-Production Folder - Costumes

This is what the actors will wear during the shoot. We wanted the man to be wearing jeans, a woolly jumper and boots as it conforms to the fact that he looks like he is just going to do some work. Obviously he is a blue collar and this conforms to our social expectations that a white collar worked would not abuse children. We wanted the girl to wear a white dress to give the idea of innocence which is juxtaposed with the stained dress to show that she has been held captive down in the cellar for a couple of days. we wanted the contrast with the purity of the white and the stain on her dress which represents something althogether more sinister.

Pre-Production Folder - Props List

This is the props list we have created, it ensures that we will have the correct props on the day of the shoot. props are important to add the realism into the shoot. without these, the end production would look very unreal.

Pre-Production Folder - Introduction

This is an essential piece of work within our pre production folder. It lets us know what time we need to tell the actors to arrive and what time they can go home. It also gives us a brief synopsis or what happens in the scene in which we are shooting.

New Final Storyboards

These are our new final storyboards in which we will be using when editing everything we have shoot. They are also a guidline for when we are filming.
